Party Girl!

Well, party season is upon us and if your looking for the perfect outfit, we're sure we can fit your ideals here at L'Armoire. 

If the look you crave is sleek, laid back and bang on trend we suggest this Kate Moss inspired outfit. It will never fail to be envied!  L'Armoire has re-created the look with Day Birger et Mikkelsens Black leather trousers. One of American Vintage's cool grey soft tee's. A Malene Birger silver disc 'Tilian' necklace. Malene Birger's black tuxedo 'Ebbony' jacket. And to finish off, add a festive splash of colour with Liberty's raspberry leather 'Ianthe' clutch bag.

If it's a more sophisticated, simplistic look that your after but still want a touch sparkle take note from Olivia Palermo and go for a little shoulder action. Choose Day Birger et Mikkelsen's 'Bead in my Eyes' black cashmere blend jumper dress with embellished shoulder detail. Team with Falke black pure matt 50 opaque tights, or for a more edgy look, team with Malene Birger's black satin ankle length cigarette evening 'Imala' pants.

 

Chanel's Karl Largerfeld's muses have got it spot on nipping in their looks with a great cropped jacket or cardy.

We love the full on sparkle Diane Kruger has gone for, but if that's too much, we suggest you go for Malene Birger's sequin cropped 'Whizan' cardy layered over a Day pleated chiffon dress.

Re-create Keira Knightley's look with our Malene Birger little black 'Flammea' dress. Nip it in with Malene Birger's cropped 'Thynia' knitted jacket, with once again a touch of sparkle on the shoulders. Party on girls!!

We have had the perrrrrrfect cosy winter knit in this week from American Vintage just in time for this ice cold weather. We can't think of a better way to wear it than with a pair of leggings, sheepskin boots and AV's winter blush cashmere scarf. We're telling you, it's so warm, you won't ever want to take it off!

P.S. Our style crush at the moment is Emma Watson. She is stylish beyond her years, and always looks totally chic. Our favourite look was her appearance at the latest harry potter premier in London. We are loving her new pixie crop too!

We Are One!!

Hi all,

Phew..., It's been a busy few weeks for L'Armoire.

First, (as we're sure you all know) it was Cowbridge fashion week. A fantastic crowd lined the streets as the vintage themed parade started a fashion frenzy for the opening night. The L'Armoire girls looked stylish as ever in some of our hottest picks from this seasons collections. Our late night opening saw L'Armoire turn into glamorous party mode with Juliet working her makeup magic on anyone who could jump in the makeup seat quick enough!

Then followed our fantastic catwalk show on the Saturday in the town hall which went down a storm. A huge thank you to everyone who came throughout the week, which made it a super success.....we can't wait until next year!

And, before we can draw breath, it will be...., L'Armoire's 1st Birthday next Friday 12th November!!

We can't believe it's been a year already. So we invite you all for a glass of bubbly to come and celebrate with us throughout the day!

So, keeping you updated on what's new in store, American Vintage is keeping us cool while casual (and most importantly warm) with its super stylish grey hoody. We love it layered underneath AV's charcoal soft zip jacket. With its fleece lining we can see ourselves cosying up in front of the fire after a walk in the autumnal countryside. You could also team it with one of Day's seasonal leather jacket's to give it a cooler more urban edge.

As we mentioned in our last newsletter, Falke tights are L'Armoire's latest new brand stocked. They have been flying out, so don't forget to come and stock up on your winter hosiery here. We can't get enough of their Pure Matt 50 Denier tights that give the sexiest legs ever. Honestly, they work wonders and we wouldn't be without a pair in at least two colours..., (we're thinking classic black and quirky bottle green).

Liberty of London's final drop gives a great Christmas gift idea. Their luxury leather 'Ianthe' embossed diaries and notebooks will make any girl shriek when she receives one as a gift. Stocked in jewelled bright colours we love that we can always spot them at the bottom of any handbag.
