Right Royal Attire

Hi all,

Jubilee weekend is here and wherever your spending the extra long bank holiday, we think it's a right royal excuse to dress up! We thought we'd give you some regal inspire looks in preparation for the celebrations.

If your heading to a garden party, keep things prim and proper in this Malene Birger navy and cream cardy mixing it up with a crown jewelled coloured silk and jersey tank underneath and maybe some pearls...

Heading into London to see the Thames parade? Day's grey marl embroidered cardigan will be great as an extra pretty layer over a white American Vintage tee shirt and jeans. We are sure the Queen would approve!

Afternoon tea will be the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a delicate silk blouse by Day. The warm tone of yellowy gold and soft silk petals around the collar keep it flirty and fun. Layer dainty gold jewellery up on your wrist and neck for a nod towards Her Majesty.

And finally, if you'll be catching all the coverage from the comfort of your own sofa, stay patriotic and channel red white and blue layered up in soft cotton tees and tanks from American Vintage.

Hot Tropics

Hi all,

So it's been a while since our last post and there has been plenty going on in (and outside) the boutique. In the last couple of months we've had fashion week, shows, weddings and most importantly, lots of lovely NEW stock!

Spring is always such an inspiring time of year. We don't know if it's the sight of beautiful blossoms, the longer days, warmer weather (if we're lucky) or the abundance of lighter brighter clothes that burst from L'Armoire's rails. It certainly gets the creative juices flowing.

Fashion @ Arboreal Pics

It seems like a long time ago now but at the end of March, we took part in the fantastic fashion event held in the lovely Arboreal cafe kitchen bar just two doors down from us here in Cowbridge. The show was a huge success profiling fashion and good food. A fantastic fun night was had by all, so here are some pics...

Head To The Tropics

If the warm weather insists on staying away from the UK for now, you can bring a little sunshine in to your wardrobe with Malene Birger's hot tropical prints. Adding a brighter bloom or print to your outfit will give you that 'club tropicana' feel in the mind even if your not actually there in body!

A Classic Case of Deja Vu..?

Is it a case of deja vu?? We know you've heard us talk of the classic stripe on many occasions but they really are all over the place once again. Nothing looks quite so chic as a savvy stripe and we just love them here at L'Armoire. If you fancy going bold, plump for American Vintage's grapefruit stripe long layering tank or if your after a more subtle approach Day have played it down with their muted putty and taupe fine knit.

Jewellery Just In

Looking for a little gift for someone? Or just something for yourself? Our pretty jewellery range has arrived once again. The boutique is brimming with twinkly trinket necklaces, delicate earrings and beaded bracelets. So hurry, styles sell out fast!

And finally yes, you did hear us mention a wedding. For those of you who may or may not know, L'Armoire owner Melissa married her long term partner Geraint on the 29th April 2012! A beautiful and special day was had by all and for those of you we promised a picture to..., here it is!
