The last dose of warm weather was an unexpected delight for us here in the UK and now, we are pretty much sure it's over. Having dropped 10 or more degrees almost over night, it seems we can all now focus on the task ahead. A pleasurable one at that-our autumn/winter wardrobes...yippee!

This week has seen the the first drop of Day's 'Winter Nights' collection. Consisting of pieces with a slightly more luxurious edge ready for Christmas. Sheer silks, draping, velvet and lace are key to day's signature style and run throughout the collection. Our favourite piece has to be the dramatic black velvet cape. A real star buy if your looking to make a statement then this is it. With it's beautiful beading detail at the collar it looks as if it's come straight out of a period drama. Winter Lights
